Scott Martin

Scott is a son, a father, a husband, a friend and most of all he is a Professional Human.
Throughout his life he has experienced a lot of what most people would consider horrible, awful or even traumatic experiences but he looks at each of them as a lesson that has taught him a great deal and modeled him into the person he is today. He has been an addict since the age of 17 bouncing from one addiction or substance to the next along with being an alcoholic for 15 yrs. He has been through marriage, divorce, loss of a child, serious and life threating medical issues, suicide attempts, bankruptcy, job loss, weight loss journey of going from 340lbs size 46 waist to 210 lbs size 34 waist and many other experiences in between. Over the course of his life, he has also sought out help through religion, AA, support groups, traditional therapy, ketamine assisted therapy and self-guided journeys through meditation and finding his place amongst nature. Today he can say that he is happily married, has 5 beautiful and amazing kids, sober and enjoying recovery life to the fullest.

Throughout his professional career...he has been an employee, supervisor, sales lead, manager and business owner. Scott understands what it takes to provide a healthy balanced workspace that is focused and helping all employees to succeed and provides them with the right tools and environment to live their fullest life. He is excited to bring his personal and professional experience to RFW as the Business Outreach Director to help businesses in Utah achieve the same goals.

Hillary battled for many years with addiction and is now proud to say; “I am a grateful recovering addict with over 10 yrs in recovery.” Throughout her recovery journey, she was able to learn the importance of family, service, authenticity, and self-love. She also has been working in the recovery space at a treatment center for over 10 years in many different roles such as Front line, sober companion and HR administrator. She is excited to bring her personal and professional experience to the RFW team to help others navigate their struggles and help businesses build a culture that promotes healthy and foster a safe place mentality for all employees to thrive.

The start of Cameron’s career was as a print, radio and television journalist. Since that time, he has led not-for-profit organizations. He has held non-profit executive level leadership positions with the American Red Cross, Boys & Girls Clubs of America and Muscular Dystrophy Association, Nevada Coalition to End Domestic and Sexual Violence and Birds for Sofia. Most recently, Cameron has volunteered with a non-profit organization, based in Utah, called the i love you, bro Project. The organization serves men throughout Utah in need of mental health support and those with suicidal ideations. His roles include the lead fundraiser, grant writer and chairman the organization’s annual special fundraising event. He has raised mission-driven funding and helped to development relationships with government leaders and mental health professionals throughout Utah. Cameron also assisted the i love you, bro Project leadership establish non-profit organization best practices, fund development tactics and overall strategic plans.

Cameron was honored with “Honorable Mention” for National Non-Profit Spokesperson of the Year by the PR News. Cameron served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors at Theatre Three, Inc. in Dallas, Texas. He also graduated from the Leadership Arts Institute with the North Texas Business Council for the Arts in Dallas. He is a graduate of Leadership Eddy County in New Mexico. Cameron was inducted into the Carlsbad “40 Under 40” Class of 2018 in Carlsbad, New Mexico. He is a graduate of the Dallas Fire Rescue Citizen Fire Academy. Cameron is a graduate of the Citizens Police Academy with the Albuquerque Police Department. Cameron has also been a member of The Albuquerque Press Club. He has been a member of both the Public Relations Society of America and the National Public Information Officers Association. He also taught a social media course at NASA. He has served as a Rotarian with Rotary International since 2008. He earned the rank of Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America. In September of 2009, Cameron completed his first marathon in Benton, Arkansas. Cameron has served as a guest lecturer in journalism schools at Stephen F. Austin University, Brigham Young University-Idaho and the University of North Texas.

He earned a Bachelor’s of Arts in Journalism-Electronic Media and Russian from the University of Oregon in Eugene. Cameron also holds a Master’s of Public Administration with a concentration in Non-Profit Management from Marist University in Poughkeepsie, New York.
